Retail Apprenticeship Programme
If you are enthusiastic about working in retail or warehousing and are happy to commit to a 15 month programme then an Apprenticeship is a smart move.
What you do
You will be based in a store or warehousing and will also attend BDTS for theory and practical training as you work towards achieving an NVQ or Diploma at Level 2 and Functional / Key Skills in Maths and English.
We will support you in finding an employer if you do not have one when you apply to us.
Gain and accredit skills in the following areas; teamwork, providing information and advice to customers, display, stock control, order picking, processing payments, promoting products and maximising sales.
The apprenticeship will give you the skills to work as a retail or warehousing assistant, on checkouts, as a customer service advisor or stock controller.
The programme lasts for up to 15 months.Qualifications
You will achieve a Level 2 NVQ or Diploma in Retail or Warehousing which consists of 37 credits.
Achieve a Technical Certificate that will prove your knowledge of legal and industry practices
Gain Functional / Key Skills qualifications in Maths and English unless you already have GCSE grades A - C in Maths and English
Pay & Eligibility
Learners will earn at least the minimum apprentice wage of £2.50 per hour.
