Hairdressing e2e Programme
If you are keen to work in hairdressing but have not got any experience of this or you need to work on your basic skills then an e2e course (Entry to Employment) could be for you. You need to be between 16 and 18 to get on an e2e course which will build on your qualifications, experience and confidence. This can be a great help in going on to an Apprenticeship, Further Education or a full time job.
Throughout your training you will have a dedicated and supportive assessor.
What you do
Based at Christopher Paul Training you will work on your e2e course both in our training centres and also on placement.
You will work towards units of Level 1 NVQ or an equivalent qualification, dealing with clients and supporting stylists within the salon. The e2e course helps you develop personal skills to move forward to further training and employment.
Working with other young people on the e2e and Apprenticeship courses learning hairdressing skills in our city centre training salon you will work on models and blocks, washing and styling hair.
Qualifications
You will work towards units of Level 1 NVQ or an equivalent qualification, dealing with clients and developing relevant skills. This consists of 6 units covering a variety of areas which will demonstrate your skills for working in hairdressing.
As a part of the programme you will achieve a "Working With Others" Key Skill qualification which will reflect your ability to work as a part of a team and in one to one situations.
Along with these qualifications you will develop personal skills to move forward to further training and employment.
Pay & Eligibility
You must be aged 16 - 18
The programme will last upto 20 weeks.
