Hairdressing / Barbering Apprenticeship Programme
If you are enthusiastic about working in hairdressing / barbering and are happy to commit to a 24 month programme then an Apprenticeship is a smart move.
What you do
Based in a commercial salon and attending Christopher Paul for theory and practical training you will work towards achieving a Diploma (NVQ) at Level 2 and Functional Skills / Key skills in Maths and English
We will support you in finding an employer if you do not have one when you apply to us.
The apprenticeship will give you the skills to work as a stylist. Some of the areas covered are client consultation, shampooing, colouring and cutting, promoting products, reception duties and health and safety.
The programme lasts for upto 2 years.Qualifications
You will achieve a Level 2 Diploma (NVQ) in Hairdressing / Barbering which consists of 9 units.
Gain Functional Skills / Key skills qualifications in Maths and English unless you already have GCSE grades A - C in Maths and English
Pay & Eligibility
Learners will earn at least the minimum apprentice wage of £2.50 per hour minimum of 20 hours
