Hairdressing / Barbering - Advanced Apprenticeship Programme
Are you an experienced stylist? Do you want to improve your skills and get up to date with latest standards?
Many learners will progress from a Level 2 Apprenticeship to an Advanced Apprenticeship at level 3, either directly or as their work skills improve.
What you do
Based in a commercial salon and attending Christopher Paul for theory and practical training you will work towards achieving an NVQ or Diploma at Level 3 and Functional / Key Skills in Maths and English at level 2.
The Advanced apprenticeship will further develop your skills as a stylist, develop and show your creativity and equip you to progress to senior stylist. Some of the areas covered are advanced colouring and cutting, long hair dressing, colour correction, indian head massage and promoting yourself and your salon.
The programme lasts for 18 months.
Qualifications you will achieve
A Level 3 Diploma (NVQ) in Hairdressing / Barbering which consists of 9 units.
Functional Skills / Key skills qualifications in Maths and English unless you already have GCSE grades A - C in Maths and English
Pay & Eligibility
You will already be employed in a salon
You will continue to receive your normal pay throughout the training
