FL courses (Foundation Learning) could be for you if you are between 16 and 18 and feel you need to build on your qualification, experience and confidence prior to taking up an Apprenticeship, Further Education or a full time job.

What you do
Based at BDTS or Christopher Paul Training you will work both in our training centres and also on placement.
Qualifications
You will work towards Functional / Key Skills, Personal & Social Development award , and an award or a certificate in the vocational area of your choice, dealing with clients and colleagues, you will develop relevant skills which will enable you to move forward onto further training and employment.
Eligibility
The programme will last up to 26 weeks.
You must be aged 16 - 18
